After months of leaks, Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are finally here. The company announced the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL at their New York event today. Both the devices will be flagship phones and are priced starting at $799 and $899 respectively.
The Pixel 3 comes with a 5.5-inch display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 4GB of RAM. The device features an on all screen design with slim bezels.
On the top of the screen are two front cameras and dual-speakers. On the back is a single camera as Google is still relying on their AI for post-shoot processing. New camera features include Top Shot, Photobooth and Super Res Zoom.
Both the front and back camera supports AR features and Google is also adding some Avengers content to its AR collection. Coming to the storage, Pixel 3 will come with 64GB/128GB storage and will have Android Pie out of the box. Google is also bundling the USB Type-C earphones and a lot of dongles to make up for the missing headphone jack.
Moving to the Pixel 3 XL, it comes with the same spec sheet but will have a bigger 6.3-inch screen and a rather big notch on the top. The Pixel 3 XL will also come with the same camera features and will have two storage options- 64GB/128GB.
Next up is the new and improved AI features which can now make reservations for you as well as pick up calls and ask the person why they’re calling.
This new feature is called Call Screen and will be available for all the Pixel devices starting next month. Finally, Google has also added a new Flip to Shhh feature which will kill all your notifications.
Both the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be available for preorder starting today, with a price tag of $799.99 and $899.99 respectively.
The phone will be available in three colours- Clearly White, Just Black, and Not Pink. The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will launch on October 18th in the USA and several international markets, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, and the UK.
